Kitchens

The kitchen remodeling process begins with choosing the cabinet. The cabinet color and style is the centerpiece of the kitchen. Then the flooring is chosen to contrast the kitchen cabinets. Stone countertops such as granite or quartz are recommended for the kitchen because of the style and durability. The stone countertop should closley match the floors. Our team provides a design reddening to show how the cabinets, countertops and flooring will look before you finalize. Design rendering give clients and idea of what their dream kitchen will look like. After the cabinets, floors and countertops are installed, then the backsplash is chosen and it is recommended to place samples on the backsplash to see if it is cohesive with the lighting and all of the elements in the kitchen.

Stone Countertops

Natural and man-made stones are durable countertops for kitchens and vanities. Granite is a natural stone that is durable and can withstand heat. Marble and onyx are natural stones that are very porous and are for low traffic areas such as bathroom vanities. Man-made quartz countertops are for high traffic areas, do not require sealing and are resistant to stains, however, sunlight may cause the color to fade. Man-made quartz are also less porous than natural stone which contributes to it’s antimicrobial properties..
Most natural stones need to be sealed 1-2 times per year depending on the usage of the stone.
